Comeragh Landscaping Help Construct Gold Medal Winning Garden At The Bloom Garden Festival

Local Dungarvan company, Comeragh Landscaping team up with local landscape designer Gerard Mullen for the construction of his 'Gold Medal' winning garden at the Bloom Garden Festival held in the Phoenix Park over the May Bank Holiday weekend, which attracted over 50,000 visitors.

Paul Curran of Comeragh Landscaping was approached by Gerard Mullen to construct his design 'Sandscape'. Paul was very impressed with the design and the novel idea of integrating rammed earth walls into the design with a backdrop of liscannor stone walls offset by virgin white paving and complemented by a very detailed and appropriate planting scheme.

'Precision planning, hard work and long hours brought the garden to life' comments Paul, who has been running a very successful landscaping business for the past 12 years. 'Highly motivated and skilled staff pulled it off, attention to detail was a big contribution to the winning design'.

Gerard Mullen had much praise and admiration for the Comeragh Landscaping crew who took the long road to Dublin to make his design a reality and take gold. Gerard comments 'It was a hard few weeks, but was worth it all in the end, Comeragh Landscaping lived up to its reputation as a professional landscaping company. Every task was carried out to the highest standard and at competition at this level, standard is everything'.
